Since I was 5-years-old, I knew I wanted to be a journalist. The only problem was I could not explain why. In August 2012, I visited the great Newseum in Washington, D.C. and, not far from the 9.11 exhibition, a quote of Philip Graham -former publisher of The Washington Post- was engraved on a wall: “Journalism is the first rough draft of hitsory”. I finally had it, the reason why I wanted to be a journalist: I wanted to contribute, as much as I could, as well as I could, in the understanding of History for the generations to come, I wanted to help create this first rough draft. And I still do.
